All rooms are decorated to a high standard and all have duvets, sheets and blankets to cover all seasons, UK style pillows, plus comfy cushions. Complimentary shampoo, shower gel and soap is provided as well as large bath towels, hand towels & Hairdryers. Fans are available on request.
The rooms on the lower floor benefit from the natural cooling of the granite walls and feel cool and fresh on a hot day.

Salon, Dining Room and Guest Kitchen
There is a large first floor lounge area with a cathedral ceiling revealing the original oak beams. Dual aspect windows give lovely views over the pool, lake and surrounding countryside. Comfy sofas, soft lighting and a log burner make this a lovely space to relax in at the end of the day.
There is a library of books and games. We also provide a large selection of local tourist information and maps
The entrance hall also doubles as a large airy dining area with a large patio window giving views over the lovely countryside. Breakfast is served here every morning between 8.30 and 9.30. Evening meals will be served here if the weather does not allow us to serve meals on the dining terrace (a rare event in summer!).
Tea and coffee making facilities are available all day in the small guest kitchen, which is equipped with a fridge, sink, kettle and microwave. There is also an honesty bar of drinks and snacks.
Pool towels, cushions and throws can be found on the ‘tower of comfort’

The Garden and Pool
Le parc de deux hectares avec une superbe piscine et un étang, est un lieu calme et propice à la relaxation. Il y a des sièges et des hamacs partout un peu partout vous permettent la lecture, la peinture ou la pèche. Notre étang a beaucoup de poissons, des cannes à pèches et d’autres équipements peuvent être loués, uniquement pour nos clients (la réservation du matériel se fait avec les réservation des chambres)
. La piscine fait 9m par 4,5m, avec un ponton en bois qui surplombe l’étang, les serviettes sont offertes. Pour votre confort, transats, coussins et couvertures sont mis à votre disposition. Un coin feu, alimenté par le bois de la propriété au printemps et pendant l’automne vous permet d’admirer la voie lactée et les étoiles confortablement installé. Il y a également des jeux à l’extérieur.

Amenities
Free WiFi
We have internet via satellite, so we have to operate a fair access policy. Streaming of films and TV is not allowed, however browsing static pages, facebook etc is fine. WiFi access is in the dining area and terrace only, due to our thick granite walls
Free Parking
There is parking on site for up to 8 cars. Some double parking may be required.
Classic / super cars are safe at Chateauret – not visible from the road and no potholes or bad surfaces.
Bedroom Comforts

Guest Kitchen
There is a small well equipped kitchen with fridge, sink, microwave and kettle available at all hours for guests to use
Suitable for preparing light lunches, picnics and childrens meals. We allow guests access to the main kitchen to prepare baby food
Washer & Dryer
Guests are able to do their laundy using our washer and drier for a small charge
Pool
The pool 9m x 4.5m is protected with an immersion alarm and at night is covered by a security cover.
There are sunbeds and we provide pool towels free of charge.
BBQ Area
Guests may be able to use the BBQ area and fire pit if tables d’hotes is not being served at the same time.
Printer/Scanner
If guests need to print boarding passes etc, they will be welcome to use our PC to print.
Coffee and Tea
Unlimited tea and coffee is available in the guest kitchen, where there is a kettle, instant & ground coffee (for cafitiere) and a wide selection of teas & tisanes.
Checkin & Checkout
Guests are welcome to arrive from 16h (4pm)
We ask guests to vacate their rooms by 11.00 on the day of departure so that we can prepare the rooms for the next visitors
Meals
Dinner is served from 19h30 starting wth an aperetif served in the salon or on the Terrace
Breakfast is served between 8h30 et 9h30

All facilities are used at the guests own risk. The owners cannot be held responsible in the event of death or accident to anyone on the property
We are sorry but we cannot accept pets.
Whilst we welcome children (we have them ourselves!) we do have a large unfenced lake at the bottom of the garden, so parents of small mobile children (aged 1-5) may want to consider the suitability of our property for their holiday. The swimming pool area is also unfenced, but the pool is protected by an immersion alarm during the day and a security cover at night., It is the parents responsibility to supervise their children at all times.
